These series of paintings contest something Billy Childish is ALLEGED to have said in a book that’s derogatory and falsely dismisses my artistic contribution to the paintings he and I make together. Billy is a friend of mine, and I strongly suspect he was either misquoted or taken wildly out of context. I struggle to believe he would say anything of this nature about our work.
